Monday night we hit the airwaves again with a full show. Kicking it off on a light note, Joe talked about his recent trip to Miami and buying Angelina Jolie-esque sunglasses. After that I came on to give a primer on the Federal Marriage Amendment that was defeated in the U.S. House last week.

In Cup of Joe, Joe talked to Jennifer Holliday about her career on Broadway. Listen to the interview here. Then we had a conversation with Greg, a listener from Durham, NC, who is throwing listening parties for The Agenda.

Then Skyy from XM’s BPM joined us for The Upload and shared "What a Feeling" by Peter Lutz d. Dominico.

It’s been a big summer of GLBT news already so we got The Skinny on the latest news from some of the best gay press journalists in the country - Susan Ryan-Volmer of Bay Windows in Boston, Eric Resnick of the Gay People’s Chronicle in Cleveland, and Deb Price of the Detroit News, a nationally syndicated columnist on GLBT issues. Listen to the roundtable discussion part one and part two.

The highlight of the show had to be Point of View with two of the funniest women in show business - Jane Lynch and Carol Leifer.

And since the gays love to travel, we had an interview with David Paisley of Community Marketing to talk about the GLBT travel market. I’ll be following that up with packages through out the summer on hot GLBT destinations.

Time for The Upload again with Tobi of XMU who played "Silent Shout" by The Knife.

In Open Mic we got a call from Scott who asked for more suggestions about GLBT-friendly companies. If you want to know how companies treat their GLBT employees check out our Buyer’s Guide.

Finally, this week’s Call to Action was to read The Plot Against America by Philip Roth. We’ll be talking about it next week. Check back later this week for a preview of this coming Monday’s show.
