Just over a week before the midterm elections and we’ve got a very politically minded show lined up on The Agenda. David Kuo will join us to talk about how the Bush administration cuddles up to right-wing conservatives during election season, but when it comes to governing, most White House staffers do not have nice things to say about evangelicals. He saw it all working in the White House Office of Faith-Based Initiatives and wrote the new book Tempting Faith.
Susan Estrich sat down with Joe this week to talk about her new book Soulless, which takes Ann Coulter head-on for her cynical brand of dirty politics and rhetoric. Estrich is a professor at the University of Southern California Law School and a Fox News contributor, and was campaign manager for Michael Dukakis in 1988.
Mike Berman will join us again on The Agenda to give some insights on the upcoming elections. Berman is a veteran Washington insider and reads daily poll numbers like other people read the weather report.
While gains for GLBT equality are not often had in Congress, American businesses are leading the way in treating all of their employees fairly. To talk about this phenomenon, Bob Witeck and Wes Combs of Witeck-Combs Communications will join us. They’ll discuss their new book Business Inside Out.
All that and a lot more on The Agenda this week, so join us Monday evening live from 6 to 8 p.m. Eastern, only on XM channel 200.
