With just 100 days to go before November’s election, we had a great show focusing on some of the politics of the moment as well as some lighter topics last night on The Agenda with Joe Solmonese.

We started out the show with Rep. Robert Wexler. He’s served his South Florida district for 12 years in Congress and talks about his political life in the new book, “Fire Breathing Liberal.” Download or listen:

How will women factor in to the race for the White House this year? To answer that question we were be joined by Page Gardner, the executive director of Women’s Voices. Women Vote. Her organization recently released a poll showing a 32 point advantage for Sen. Obama among unmarried women. Download or listen:

On the lighter side, fall is closer than we’d like to believe and we looked at the upcoming television season with returning guest Damien Holbrook of TV Guide. Finally we looked at a new film with director Dan Hunt. He has a new documentary showing on Logo called “Bear Run” that explores the lives of gay men who self identify as bears and the subculture that has grown into a global community. Download or listen:
